Celebrating 5 Years of Education
|
Abacus Day Nursery is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year. We provide an environment for children to develop positively, both emotionally and socially, to better prepare them for school and the future, in partnership with parents or carers.

The past 10 years lay testimony to our success, having originally opened as a 24 place nursery for 2-5 year olds, we have, over the years, developed to become a nursery, pre-school and out of school club for 84 children aged from 3 months to 11 years of age. | |  |

The children are cared for in separate playrooms in the Koala, Panda, Penguin, Hippo & Elephant groups within the nursery, with children up to 11 years of age in the out of school Discovery Club during school holidays. The nursery has separate all weather gardens so outdoor play is enjoyed all year | |  |

The 0-3 year olds work towards the Birth to Three Matters, a framework to support children in their earliest years.
Penguins is our newest group for 2-3 year olds which offers 2.5 hours of playtime each morning term time only up to 5 sessions a week. This is ideal for children to make new friends | |  |

In the Elephant pre-school group we offer nursery education working towards the Six Areas of Learning within the Foundation Stage and these sessions are provided FREE OF CHARGE from the term after your child is 3. | |  |

Various sessions are offered between 8am-6pm both all year and termly, Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year.
